Back in April 2018, Fluid director Davide Barletti was touring Ivory Coast with Cinemovel Foundation and his movie La Guerra dei Cafoni. The film was screened in villages and schools, a unique experience made possible by the precious commitment of Cinemovel.

In April this year, the Cinemovel caravan lands in Senegal together with director Matteo Garrone and the actors of “Io Capitano”, 2024 Oscar nominee for Best Foreign Film. Garrone’s movie will be screened in villages, schools and suburbs, places where movie theatres are no longer there or never have been, aspiring to build bridges between different cultures, generations and communities, continuing to do what cinema has to do: telling stories.
